On your very first payroll, when there is no payroll set up yet in the system, there will be a setting for you to select:

To make the selection:

  1. On the left panel of your admin dashboard, head to Payroll > Run Payroll.

  2. On the top section, you will see the selection to choose:
    • Run payroll from Jan 2022.
    • Run payroll from the month you're in.

This option will only appear once when there is no payroll history. Once you have run payroll either from the beginning of the year or the existing month you're in, this option will no longer appear.

What if I need to run the current month's payroll?

  • For example: If you're on Aug's payroll, you can just "Refresh Payroll" and start again.
