Admins can update employees’ salaries and effective dates of those salaries via these 2 places:


  1. The Payroll > Compensation page
  2. The People > Compensation page



  • Method 1: To update on Payroll > Compensation page:


This provides a shortcut for admins to manage this information quickly on the Payroll module itself.


1. On the left panel of your admin dashboard, click Others > Payroll > Compensation.


2. Search for the employee's name.

3. On the right, click View.


4. Click Edit.




5. You will be redirected to People > Compensation. Click Edit.




6. Enter the new details accordingly. Once you're done, click Confirm.





  • Method 2: To update on People > Compensation page:


1. On the left panel of your admin dashboard, click People > Employees.


2. Search for the employee's name.


3. On the right, click Action for the dropdown and select View Profile.





4. Click the Compensation tab on the top section.


5. Click Edit to edit the compensation information.




6. Enter the new details accordingly. Once you're done, click Confirm.
