What is Organisations & Positions


Organisations is essentially your organisation chart. You will first need to set up your company structure before being able to effectively set up Organisations. To set up your company structure, first head to Company > Structure


Once that is done, you will be able to set up your organisation chart by following the steps below. Do note that when adding an organisation, clicking on the + button will add an organisation in the level below it. 


Positions show the reporting structure in your company - who the head of department is and the employees under that department. It also shows default or simple approval routings. When a request is submitted, it will be routed for approval to the manager in the level above the employee. The Positions tab shows the vacant position titles that you have previously created when adding a new organisation manager. Positions that are currently filled by employees are shown in the Organisation Members tab. 



To view Organisations:


1. On your admin dashboard, head to the left panel.


2. Click People > Organisations.



To view Positions:


1. On your admin dashboard, head to the left panel.


2. Click People > Organisations.


3. Click on the required organisation.


4. Click on the Organisation Member or Positions tab.
