You may have large projects that involve multiple teams that work on it specifically. Time Tracking Projects are a way to group multiple Time Tracking Teams together for easy viewing of timesheets of all the employees in teams involved in this project. This also allows you to generate and download reports for this specific project if needed. Creating a project will allow your team to track the number of hours spent on a particular project. This feature is particularly useful for consulting or outsourcing companies where employees are assigned to service external clients.
To Use Time Tracking for Different Projects:
On your admin dashboard, head to the left panel.
Click Time Tracking.
Click on the Projects Tab.
On the right of the section, click Add Project.
Enter project name.
Select the Time Tracking Teams that are involved in this project
Confirm by clicking Confirm.
